Felline In B&B

The real highlight was Antonio and Nadia. They gave us such a warm welcome and were kind and helpful throughout. Felline is lively in the evenings, with restaurants and bars worth checking out, while the place itself stays very peaceful. It’s also handy for the surrounding beaches. We had a lovely stay and highly recommend it!

Nadja and Antonio are a lovely older couple who look after guests attentively and do what they can to meet their wishes. The property is beautifully kept, with a little oasis of a backyard garden. We’d definitely return.

Felline makes a good base for the Ionian Salento beaches, and Gallipoli is about 15 km away. Antonio also pointed us toward restaurants around the old town square, where there’s often a lively crowd and live music, plus great seafood and traditional food. The evenings often turned into friendly get-togethers, especially after dinner, when Antonio would open a bottle of lovely Salento wine for everyone. Nadia and Antonio are thoughtful, welcoming hosts, and we felt at home with them. I’m very grateful for all the care and attention they gave us. The breakfast Nadia prepares is varied and tailored, with high-quality local ingredients. There are different kinds of accommodation at the B&B, and ours was a spacious, elegant apartment with all the comforts and a big terrace overlooking the area, just right for lunch. Felline itself was a lovely discovery. Beyond the gate there’s a spacious, original-looking terrace and a magical garden full of both exotic and local plants, with quiet corners for relaxing or having breakfast. Staying at Antonio and Nadia’s beautiful B&B was a real revelation, and I absolutely recommend a holiday here.

The owners are wonderful and do their best to make you comfortable. Nadia makes a terrific breakfast, with pasticciotti and savory choices too. Antonio knows the sea inside out, so ask him which beaches suit the day’s weather. He can also book a restaurant for you, and you can count on eating well. The rooms and furnishings were clean and very well cared for, and it felt like staying with dear friends. They also have bicycles, umbrellas, and a few loungers available. We had a great time and will definitely be back.
