We had such a wonderful, relaxing week at the trullo with our four-legged friend. It’s comfortable, clean, and so carefully looked after, with privacy, peace, tranquility, and lovely sunsets. We’d go back in a heartbeat! Thanks to the hot tub in the large outdoor space, we sometimes forgot to head to the beach, even though Salento’s wonderful beaches are all around us. There’s so much outside: a barbecue, a big sofa in the patio area, a table for outdoor meals, loungers for sunbathing, and a tub. Inside, we lacked nothing for a pleasant holiday. The charming sleeping area has comfortable beds and trullo walls, there’s a delightful shower, and the living space includes a fully equipped kitchen, sofa, and table. Susanna and her husband were incredibly kind and helpful. We came home feeling truly rejuvenated!

The outdoor setup made this place special for me: we had a covered patio, a cushioned built-in sofa, a dining table, gas barbecue, sink made from a drinking trough, a great shower, and a hot tub for four. The privacy was lovely, even though the property is only 800 meters from the sea and sits out in open countryside. It’s a renovated Pagliara, a typical farmhouse here, with the bedroom in the converted structure and a living area wrapping around it, plus a beautiful bathroom. Everything was spotless, and the renovation felt carefully done. Susanna welcomed us warmly and proudly shared the story of the project. We loved our week so much that we skipped going out for dinner a few times to enjoy the Trullo, the quiet, and the sunset. We’re already thinking about coming back for a few days in September. I almost hate recommending it, since I’d like to keep it to myself.
