The apartment was generally fine, and the location was very convenient, but the overall experience left us disappointed. The rooms and kitchen are small, and there’s just one shower for an apartment advertised for 7-8 people. That’s uncomfortable after skiing, when everyone wants to wash at once. The dishwasher also didn’t clean the dishes properly. We had already paid in full and arrived before being asked to sign a detailed agreement with many strict house rules. At that point, we didn’t feel we had a real chance to question or negotiate the terms. What the owner had told us also didn’t match what the landlady later required. We left the apartment tidy and cleaned the kitchen, but €30 was taken from our deposit over an unfinished dishwasher cycle and two pots with a thin layer of food residue. The landlady inspected the place but didn’t say then that she thought the kitchen wasn’t clean enough or that we’d be charged. Part of the deposit was withheld later. Be careful about what you agree to and sign, because it will be checked thoroughly afterward.
