The owner messaged me the day before check-in to say towels and bed linen weren’t included and would cost an extra 15€ per day, even though the booking description said they were included. As soon as I pointed that out, the owner cancelled my reservation, citing a water issue. Definitely not recommended.

The historic center is beautiful, and the location is exceptional. I’d just suggest driving to the nearby parking lot, then walking to your room.

The owner was always kind, friendly, understanding, and ready to help. The rooms were clean, with a lovely fresh smell, and the value for money was excellent. Still, there were a few things that didn’t work out. One room is a very cute attic, but you have to reach it by a rather awkward retractable ladder. The shower is so small I couldn’t wash my hair. On our second and last evening, the hot water was shared with people in another rented room and ran out. We had to wait from 7:30 to 9:30 PM for a hot shower. The owner was helpful about it, but the problem still came as an unwelcome surprise.

We found out just one day before our booking that the room wasn’t available anymore. Booking.com then tried to avoid losing money by asking us to cancel, which would have meant losing all our protections. Not recommended.
