A comfortable, pleasant place to stay.

Being right in the city center makes it easy to explore the historic area. The place is clean and cared for, and every visit feels like coming home. Annamaria, the owner, is always welcoming and ready to help.

Parking was fairly easy to find near the B&B, which is useful if you're arriving by car. From Altamura we also drove across the Murgia plateau to Castel del Monte, about fifty minutes away, and visited Matera, around twenty kilometers from town. The setting on the plateau was especially striking for that time of year. We stayed here from late October into early November, and the central spot made it very easy for my wife and me to explore the city. Our room was the one with a balcony, though I can't remember its number. It was well kept and the property was very practical. The bathroom and shower had a new, particularly functional design that only made sense to me after seeing the Sassi of Matera. I'll leave the detail as a pleasant surprise. The owners were courteous and always happy to share useful information. I had a great stay and would recommend it.

We went in early September, and the flexible service and breakfast timing suited us well. The breakfast used fresh, genuine ingredients, and our room was clean and excellent. It's a charming little B&B right in central Altamura. My wife and I will certainly return.
