We arrived in Altamura late in the evening with no booking, and Porta Matera B&B was a real blessing. The room was lovely, the bed fantastic, and the bathroom looked brand new. Everything was clean, and breakfast was good.

During the Cammino Materano, this was a perfect place to stay in Altamura. Mrs. Donata and her husband were so kind and helpful, always attentive to what we needed. The room was clean and had lots of useful touches, from clothes pegs and plenty of bathroom hangers to a grab bar in the shower. Breakfast was a treat, especially the fresh ricotta. Their generosity will stay in our hearts. Thank you!

It was quiet, with a private bathroom in every room, and the location was central and pretty convenient. Mrs. Donata was lovely and helpful. She brought fresh croissants every morning, along with plenty of other treats. We had a great time.

We found the apartment bright and welcoming, and it was spotless. The rooms had everything we needed, while the bathrooms were well equipped with modern, convenient fixtures. Breakfast was excellent and generous. The location is central, yet the place is quiet. Highly recommended. Francesca Mastrangelo

Parking was really convenient for us arriving in Altamura by car. The rooms were beautiful, and breakfast was excellent. The hostess made us feel completely at home. We'll definitely come back!
