The view is the only thing I found forgiving about this accommodation, and it got old fast with the old man watching my every move. I strongly discourage anyone from booking here. I suspect the positive reviews come from his friends rather than real clients. Sort yourself out Giuseppe! We stayed in October 2020. At first, the house seemed acceptable, though it didn't look like the photos. Then the problems began to grate. The doors were incredibly old, and the host said we had to close them carefully so the glass wouldn't shatter. The beds and bedding were cheap and made a lot of noise when we got in or moved around. There was no air conditioning or heating. The kitchen was badly equipped, with barely any pots or pans, and the cutlery, dishes, and pans that were there were greasy and dirty. Turning the oven up to 200C cut power to the whole house, something the host forgot to mention. A frozen supermarket pizza that called for 8 minutes took about an hour and a half. There were four of us, despite a minimum of four people being allowed without a surcharge, but we got only one key. The area was full of mosquitoes, and the host provided nothing to deal with them, so bring plenty of repellent or hydrocortisone. The host charges a "LATE FEE" for arriving after 2PM. I think he charges an early fee too if you arrive before 2PM. He wasn't a pleasant individual. There were also CCTV cameras inside most rooms, so it felt like everything we did was being watched. Don't walk around naked or bring your kids, because who knows what he's doing while watching those cameras? I'd never encountered that at another Airbnb. After all this, we tried to be forgiving and leave him a good review, but he complained that we hadn't taken out the recycling. We left the materials outside in the right condition on the right day, but nobody collected them. How were we supposed to fix the local authority's failure? The host blamed us as if we were the problem. The living room also had a display of empty plastic bottles that he considers artistic. It looked like a recycling plant. Throw them away!

We stayed for a week in early July, and it was hot. Still, the house was comfortable and clean, with everything you'd want in a holiday rental and the best sea views. My one small gripe, and I'm being picky, is that there's no air conditioning. The floor fans do the job, though, and I'd still give it five stars.

The view was breathtaking, and the atmosphere felt refined. I had a wonderful time. It's also well placed for getting to lots of different destinations.

We could really relax here, with a breathtaking view from a spacious, well-kept villa. An elegant and comfortable place.
