Ottavia and her husband were such welcoming hosts, always happy to do whatever they could for us. The apartment was newly refurbished, nicely furnished, and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. We had a lovely view, and the location worked well for exploring both the Abruzzo mountains and the beaches. I’d happily recommend staying here.

The house is peaceful and sits in lovely, well-kept countryside, with a great spot for visiting both the Majella and the Trabocchi Coast. Its garden is beautiful, and Ottavia looks after it with care. It’s especially nice for summer evenings and for people traveling with dogs. Ottavia and Nicola were kind and always ready with advice. They know the area and its attractions really well, and Nicola especially loves talking about local history and traditions.

We spent August 7th to 10th, 2023 at IL PETTIROSSO HOLIDAY HOME, and came away with wonderful memories. The countryside setting was quiet and surrounded by a beautiful landscape, in a good position between the mountains and the sea. The house felt like both a holiday place and home. It was lovely, all new, and spotlessly clean, with everything we needed, including a well-equipped kitchen for cooking. The shared living room and kitchen were roomy and had all the equipment we needed. Our bedroom was exceptionally large and had a big private bathroom. The little house was welcoming and had all the essentials. Ottavia and Nicola were wonderful, polite, sociable, warm, and helpful, and gave us excellent advice. Of all our trips, this one left us with especially happy memories. We highly recommend it and will definitely be back soon. Thanks to the owners for looking after us so well. Gino and Maria

We felt so welcome and looked after by Ottavia and Nicola. They also shared great tips for sightseeing and local food and wine, and we hope to come back soon. The house was lovingly furnished, clean, and very well cared for. It’s peaceful and away from the bustle, with a wonderful valley view and a lovely cool breeze.
