That waiter made my dinner. After watching me finish my pasta, he noticed only a little sauce was left on my plate and offered me a small piece of bread to mop it up. Such a thoughtful gesture! The dining room was excellent, and the whole place had a quiet, understated elegance. It was a perfect stop for me while driving from southern Italy to Rome, tucked away on a rugged mountaintop, with a really accommodating feel.

The wines were super, and dinner was delicious. I only stayed one night, but the owner was so nice and the staff lovely. Book early if you want one of the diffused rooms. Otherwise, it's a pretty standard, comfortable hotel.

Dinner service and the food itself were excellent. The location and view are just wonderful, but the rooms were only okay, and the bed was borderline unusable. I'd recommend staying if you get a renovated room. The older part has very nice views, though its rooms are barely 2-star.

The beds in the main building were very firm, and the shower cubicle was quite compact. The hotel sits on a hill above the village, with stunning panoramic views.

The outdoor seating was lovely, and the staff were attentive. We wanted to recommend their restaurant to other people.
