The courtyard has a lovely romantic feel, and breakfast was sweet and enjoyable. What made the stay especially memorable was Manuel and his wife: they were warm and welcoming without hovering, and made us feel at home. It had a real family atmosphere and a lovely Tuscan spirit.

We really liked the outdoor space among the vines, and the location was great. The owners were incredibly nice, and breakfast was great too. The room was noisy, though, and could use some attention. The little shower had stains and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while.

The owners were generous with advice about the area and happy to suggest places to visit. Breakfast was a daily treat, especially the homemade specials. We found the pool relaxing, though it looked a bit smaller than in the photos. The bathroom was cramped: the shower was about 50cm x 50cm, and with the toilet wedged between it and the wall, there was barely room to sit comfortably. Still, it's a very good base for visiting Lucca and Pisa.

I was visiting my friend's family and was able to sleep in their apartment because it had an extra bed. The host was so welcoming, always smiling, and had a great time with my friend's son. I was even given breakfast the next morning. I'd happily recommend this place.

The breakfast was sensational, and the people here were extremely friendly and easy to deal with. Set among the wine groves, the B&B is in a great spot and very convenient for the Livorno ferry. There's wine and olive oil to buy, plus a restaurant next door. Well worth five stars.
