The terrace view was amazing, and breakfast had lots of options. We found the location perfect, right in the heart of Amalfi, just two corners from the Main Street but still quiet and tucked away. Walking from the pier to the hotel was easy, and the staff were friendly. The room wasn’t huge, but it was the right size, and the bathroom and everything else were super clean. Great place and good value for money. We loved it.

I regret spending five days at this hotel. Someone tried to open my room door while I was inside, then ran away. I can’t imagine what might have happened if I hadn’t been there. The rooms weren’t clean either. There was an old woman’s hair in my bed. When I told the supervisor, the man with glasses, he was rude, kept yelling at me, and made fun of me. He said, “This is not a five star hotel.” He needs training in how to treat customers. I definitely don’t recommend this hotel. Reply to your comment: Your response is misleading and false. Someone didn’t just knock on my door. They clearly tried to open it while I was inside, which is why I immediately went to reception in fear. You say the camera footage was checked, but it wasn’t. When I asked to see the cameras, I was told, “even we cannot watch them, only the police can,” in an aggressive and disrespectful manner. Instead of taking my safety concern seriously, your staff argued, raised their voices, and mocked what happened. I stand by my review. Guests should judge the hotel both by the incident and by how poorly and arrogantly it was handled.

The front desk team deserves special thanks for stepping in at short notice after our original booking went terribly wrong. Everyone was warm, understanding, and made us feel at home right away. The housekeeping and concierge staff were just as pleasant and helpful. The hotel itself is lovely, with elegant decor and a calm feel. Our room was roomy and spotless, and the care put into the details made the stay feel comfortable and luxurious. Amalfi Suite Boutique Hotel turned the trip around and gave us the peaceful place we badly needed. We were so grateful for the service and would happily recommend it.

I’d love to come back. Hotel Amalfi is cosy, clean, and right in the centre, with a whirlpool too. The staff are so dedicated and resourceful, even helping when a payment wouldn’t go through. They also arranged flowers for the room specially because I asked. Thanks so much, Team Hotel Amalfi 😎🙏
