There's no ventilation, and the place smells of mold. I can't understand the positive reviews for somewhere this shabby and so expensive. The kitchenware is greasy and sticky, with some pieces broken or misshapen, and the towels are more like rags than towels. Wet clothes never dry and mold forms on the hooks. The kitchen itself isn't ventilated either. Heating anything makes the utensils wet, and running the air conditioning at the same time blows the fuses. The fridge is broken, too. The place is at the top of town, reached by a passage with more than sixty steps, which is quite a workout with luggage.

The room is nicely equipped, with good furniture and a good bathroom. There's a slight musty smell, though it isn't unbearable. Be aware that the address on Google is wrong and the place can be hard to find. The owner works at Hotel La Ninfa, 2 km from Amalfi, so you'll need to coordinate your arrival with him.

The location was the one good thing. The room smelled moldy, and the bedspreads and pillows were dirty. The TV wouldn't work when I turned it on. I called the man who had brought us there, but he disappeared. I wouldn't recommend this place.
