The reception team were really attentive and friendly, and the place felt welcoming. It was clean and quiet, too.

Our suite on the second floor of this carefully restored 17th-century mansion has been a luxurious base, with rich decor and a well-equipped modern kitchen. We’re staying for a month, and with six days left, it’s still just as enjoyable as when we arrived. At first the kitchen was short on a few things for the cooking we wanted to do, but housekeeping brought extra utensils and kitchenware the day after we asked. The location has made it easy to get to Turin’s sights and food, and the building’s history adds something special to exploring the city. Service has been smooth from the warm check-in onward. The housekeeping staff are friendly and accommodating, and they’ve worked around our schedule so their visits don’t disrupt us. We’re looking forward to these last six days in Turin and at Palazzo del Carretto. We’ll definitely come back to relive this experience.

The rooms in Turin were unusual and really nice. Being there felt like staying in a palace, and I’d never seen hotel interiors quite like that before. They may be a little dated, but I enjoyed the experience.

The apartments are full of history and have been renovated nicely where needed. We stayed with our two kids, who were just as amazed by the place as we were. In a busy city, having parking is a real plus, so make sure to book it if you’re driving. There’s no breakfast service with the apartment, at least not on Sunday, but plenty of nearby places serve breakfast then. Definitely recommended for a trip to Torino.
