The terrace was spacious and had an unforgettable view across all of Amalfi. Our room was beautiful, and the location was fantastic. Luciano, our host, was so kind and helpful, going out of his way to take care of what we needed and make us feel welcome. We had an amazing vacation and would recommend this place to anyone visiting Amalfi.

We stayed at Terrace Apartment Dependance on Aug 13/25. It’s advertised inaccurately online, with heavily edited photos, and turned out to be a very run down apartment with a separate terrace. The terrace had filthy sunbeds, and we saw rats eating at the roots of a bush they’d burrowed out. Inside, the bathroom walls had black mold, the sheets were dirty, and the couch had cigarette burns with its pleather peeling. It was very basic at best, despite the extortionate rate of 400 Euros per night plus 60 Euros for parking. When we complained, the manager became enraged and refused to refund the five remaining nights we’d paid for. He claimed he’d gone above and beyond by offering to paint over the black mold, as if that could make the accommodation habitable. The manager was irate, unprofessional, and a cheat. There are plenty of nicer choices in Amalfi. Don’t stay here.

At check-in, Luciano told us about Amalfi’s history, suggested great restaurants, and was accommodating with every request. He made us feel like old friends. The staff at Donna Giulia were so welcoming and friendly, and breakfast each morning was great. From our balcony, we had an uninterrupted view of the Mediterranean Sea. Everything about the stay was 10/10, and we can’t wait to return.

Would I go back? Yes, tomorrow if I could. The view from my room was stunning, so much that I wondered if they’d put up a post about it. Luciano didn’t just offer help, he made all our dreams come true. He was patient, supportive, and such a happy man. The view, the service, the Dolce Vita, everything was wonderful.
