Locanda Costa d'Amalfi

I live in Napoli, and my friend was visiting from the States and stayed here. Manuela and Valentina answered all my questions on WhatsApp before we arrived and during the stay, and were so helpful. Pino parked my car, and was always available to drive us into Amalfi or to a nearby spa, or pick us up from the port. It cost half what a regular taxi would have charged. 😳 Taxis on the Amalfi coast are vampires! 🤣

The staff at Locanda Costa DAmalfi were really nice and helped with all our questions. The facilities and services were just as described in the brochures, and the hotel even arranged all our taxi transport from Naples airport. Breakfast was very good every morning, with such a wide choice that we always left full. It exceeded our expectations.

We felt really comfortable here, thanks to the amazing staff. They helped us reserve a ferry and gave us tour and restaurant recommendations. Breakfast was awesome, and our room, “Amalfi,” had a perfect sea view and a very large terrace.

This hotel wasn’t to my taste. The bed and pillow were uncomfortable, and breakfast was bad. The morning hosts, a man and a woman, were both nice and drove us to Amalfi centre twice, an 8-10 minute trip. We really appreciated that. There’s also a bus stop very close by. What upset me was the woman on the afternoon shift asking me to pay the city tax in cash so she could save money. The price felt far too high for what we got, like everywhere on the Amalfi Coast.
