Agriturismo La Distesa

We loved having outdoor space where we could eat, and the quiet made our week here with our one-and-a-half-year-old children especially enjoyable. It may not suit everyone, since you need to be happy surrounded by nature and managing with what you bring, but for us it was just right. We had a lovely stay and would happily come back. A truly magical spot.

The pool was a real treat, a peaceful place to cool down and sit in the sun. Everything around the property was spotless and so well looked after, and our apartment felt both comfortable and full of charm. Loretta and Giuliano were thoughtful, warm, and always there when I needed something. Tucked into the greenery, it’s a restful base, with the surrounding area easy to explore too.

We had a great week here, and even got to enjoy live music one evening. The farmhouse has been turned into a lovely holiday place, set among meadows and wooded hills. The rooms are simply furnished but have what you need, and the pool was a huge hit with our grandchildren. We also recommend the short walks up to the White and Black Brothers mountains.

L'Esinante makes it easy to feel at home, thanks to the caring, imaginative people who run it. Its location is lovely for discovering the different sides of the Marche region, from villages, abbeys and hermitages to the sea and mountains, as well as its slow pace and good food.
