Palazzo Vitagliano

The price felt very reasonable for the quality, and the staff were welcoming, friendly and genuinely helpful the whole time. Palazzo Vitagliano is right in the centre of Amalfi, within easy walking distance of everything. Our room was bright, modern and beautifully finished, with everything feeling new and well cared for. One of the best places I've stayed. I'd happily return.

I loved having breakfast brought to my room each morning, and Pina was a great housekeeper. My room was spectacular, especially the big round bathtub, which was perfect for soaking my sore muscles after all the walking around the villages. The hotel is easy to get around from. It's across from the port ferries and buses, and dinner and shopping are within walking distance. I went to Capri, Positano, the Emerald green grotto, Fiordo beach, Atrani, and Ravello. Atrani is a 12-minute walk, and Le Arcate was my best meal, with homemade pasta. The staff made the trip special. Gino, the hotel's driver, picked me up in Naples, and Paola and Angelo met me at the parking lot and carried my luggage up. Gino was exceptional, and I'd recommend asking the hotel for him if you need transport from Naples to Amalfi. Paola and IIlenia were outstanding, going beyond any reception service I've experienced. They answered all my questions and helped me plan the next days' adventures. They'll always have a special place in my heart. If you want to stay in a mafia, this is your hotel!

We had a lovely four days at the Palazzo suites, and we'd consider staying again. Our room on the third floor had a lovely view, and the room and staff were very nice. Maria,ilenia,Pina and Angelo were especially helpful, welcoming us and helping with our luggage. The location is excellent, just beyond the Amalfi centre and right by the bus and ferry stop. There isn't an elevator, only stairs, but that wasn't an issue for us.

I stayed for a few days and liked the property. What really made it stand out was the welcoming atmosphere created by the staff. Angelo Eliana and Maria were super helpful, if I have their names right.
