We booked 06 rooms out of the property's 8 for a family reunion and vacation, and paid a lot for a demeaning experience. Breakfast was cold toast and cold milk. We paid for it, then got attitude and comments in Italian when we simply asked for hot coffee. The management seemed to be cutting costs and behaved in a totally unruly way. We're keeping our cool because we can't respond in kind to the rude Italian behavior we've experienced here and elsewhere in Italy. Sad economy, yet such attitude. The owner was always away, there was no one to help with anything, and no emergency number for an alternate key. When we needed the master key, nobody could assist, so we had to fit uncomfortably into other rooms. The manager or janitor was rude. Our parents had to take the stairs every day because the lift was available but never operating, while this lady always used it herself. We had to carry all the bags up the stairs. What a nightmare. The owner runs things poorly, and the stay was a damper on our family trip. STAY AWAY.

The host was very unfriendly. Our plane was delayed, so we couldn't make check-in before it closed at 18:00. They then cancelled our three-night stay as a “no-show” and gave no refund. After several calls, they let us stay for only two nights, not even the final night, on the condition that we didn't tell Booking.com. Avoid this place at all costs!

The owner was unbelievably rude, and I've never had an experience like this. I warned her ahead of time that I'd arrive late, but check-in ended at 18:00. I had already paid for a sea-view apartment for two nights, yet she wouldn't help when my trip to Amalfi brought me there after closing. I had to find another place that night. When I came back the next morning, on the second day, she still refused to help and even told the cleaner to put my bags out on the street. The location also wasn't good. It's a fair distance from the city, on a narrow road used by cars, and even walking to the bus stop feels dangerous. The side-on sea view doesn't show Amalfi in all its glory. I'd recommend staying in the city centre for convenience. The two other places I stayed had fantastic service, and one had an even better view for a lower price. The owner's rudeness doesn't represent the Amalfi way.

The rooms were generally clean, but the place wasn't what we expected. The pictures for the specific room showed a balcony you could walk out onto, with chairs, but ours only had a window that opened onto the view. When I asked about the mismatch, Owner Jessica said that wasn't the room we'd reserved. We didn't argue because the website no longer showed proof of the room details. Be careful when booking, since you may not get what you expect. The location description was completely false about being close to the beach and main Amalfi area. This hotel isn't near town. It's a dangerous, narrow, busy road, and getting down to town takes 10 minutes by bus or golf cart. Walking is a terrifying 20 minutes and almost impossible. Breakfast is very limited. From what Jessica, the owner/manager, told me, the choices were boiled eggs, croissants with spreads, cheese, salami, tomatoes, donuts, and fruit. Only two staff work in the morning, and no one is there during the day or at night. You're given one key. If you lose it, you have to pay $50 euro and wait until Jessica finishes her job in town at 12:00 am to bring another one. I know because it happened to us. The key opens the hotel entrance, so you're left out on the street until she returns. JESSICA IS A NIGHTMARE!! She's rude and combative, never admits she's wrong, and has no customer service experience. She speaks her dialect with the cleaner and her mom nearby, apparently unaware that guests like me understood the rude, nasty things she said. We came to Amalfi to spend time with family. This little hotel disappointed us, but didn't ruin our vacation, since we came to see Italy's beauty and did. I never write bad reviews, but this place deserved one. Our stay was in September of 2022.
