Grand Hotel La Tonnara

The food was great, and being right beside the beach made the atmosphere breathtaking. I loved staying here, probably one of the most memorable places I stayed in Italy. The rooms were cosy and had air conditioning.

The front desk girls were fantastic, always cheerful and ready to help. The beach is right in front, and access is included with the room, along with sunbeds and umbrellas. We’ll definitely be back next year.

It’s an affordable, lovely hotel right on the seafront, with very friendly staff. The rooms are large, spotless, and artistically decorated, with big comfy beds and spectacular bathrooms, at least in our seafront room. Breakfast is a generous buffet in a bright, spacious room. There’s also a separate, more upmarket restaurant. We ate there out of season with a set menu, so I can’t really comment on the food. The pool looked sparkling clean, but it was too cold for a swim in April. All in all, a very comfortable place.

The sea is the real draw, shimmering in every shade of blue. It’s deep, but warm and comfortable, and every guest gets a sunbed and sunshade for the whole stay at no extra charge. The hotel is great, with perfect cleanliness, a huge balcony, a modern bathroom, and other modern facilities. The staff are welcoming, and the animation is exceptionally interesting.
