Amelia is about a 40-minute walk away. We had a lovely family stay at La Gabelletta, with plenty of places to relax and a lovely pool. Our apartment was spacious, clean, and beautifully furnished and decorated. We also ate at the restaurant, where the food was excellent, and took a look at the lively wine cellar.

The staff were friendly and attentive, and we really enjoyed the delicious food at the restaurant. The apartments are grand too. Such an amazing place.

The restaurant is excellent, and there are terraces with lovely views. Set right in the countryside, it's a pleasant spot with lots of options for walking, running, and biking. The rooms could use some improvement, especially the bedding.

The owner was very friendly when we raised the problems and offered to let us pay the correct amount for what we ordered. She even offered us something on the house. The meal itself was disappointing: our pasta vongole was much too spicy and tasted bad, and the two dishes we ordered were replaced by two different ones. Those didn't taste good either, and together they cost 12 euros more. There were cats wandering around the restaurant too.

2/10
The place felt neglected and run down, and the meal was a huge disappointment. Our pasta with burrata and anchovies looked hastily put on the plate, had no seasoning, and came with only a tiny bit of burrata and three anchovies. The aubergine millefeuille starter was soggy from the pastry and completely lacking in flavour. The food was almost impossible to eat, the service was terrible, and it was poor value. Honestly, one of the worst meals I've had in Italy.
