The breakfast got such great reviews that I expected something different. Ours was a sandwich with two slices of industrial white bread, tomato and mozzarella, plus a banana, packaged crackers or cake, and industrial juice. The portions were good, and still better than at other places, but it wasn't what I'd imagined after reading those comments 😅 The owner was very friendly and offered us coffee. We liked the quiet, bird-filled atmosphere: the rooms are small but cute, most with a little terrace. The location is handy for exploring the island's southwest or Mount Solaro, and the bus stop is three minutes away. This was the cheapest place we found when booking on Capri, and the value overall was still worth five stars. Tip: on the way back from Belvedere della Migliara, stop at Da Gerlsomina. The view is amazing!

Mario made us feel very welcome and well cared for during our three nights at B&B angelide. It's centrally located on the beautiful island, and breakfast had a lovely, homely feel.

Stay here to get a feel for local life in Anacapri. Mario and his family are excellent hosts, the breakfast is excellent, and everything is close by. A real gem, one of the best B&Bs on the island.
