For a budget trip to Venice, it’s a decent place at that price. I paid $66 plus taxes, though the price is also listed as €64 plus taxes, and I can’t complain too much for the cost. It’s around a kilometer from the train station, and a small breakfast is included. The room and toilet were clean, but the sheets weren’t. There’s no sign outside, just the name on the bell, and ringing it didn’t work. I had to call the host to get in, so make sure to note their number if you book.

The bathroom and kitchen are shared with other guests. The bathroom was well equipped, while breakfast was a little disappointing, just toast and yogurt, plus juice, coffee and biscuits. Still, I had a pleasant stay. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and let me check in early for free. The location was good too, near a bus stop for the centre of Venice.

The room we had was spacious and clean, and the shared bathroom was clean as well. It was comfortable and good value for the money. The host was very friendly and helped us with useful guides and tips for getting around. The B&B is conveniently close to grocery stores, a bank and takeaway food. Absolutely shameful. They made us cancel the day before we were due to arrive because we’d be getting in late at night. We’d told them about our arrival time two months earlier, and they said it was fine. Then the night before, they claimed a policy change meant we couldn’t check in that late.
