Mocenigo Grand Canal Luxury Suites

Lovely apartment!!!!! Perfect for a holiday 😉😉😉😉

The courtyard is nice, and the building could be beautiful. But during our stay it was being renovated and looked run-down and abandoned. The shower’s hot water was unreliable, and there was no 24/7 security. We arrived at 7 pm and were left waiting outside the gate, with nobody answering the phone and no security staff available to check us in. They also charge extra for check-in after a certain time. There’s no luggage storage either. After checking out at 11 am, our flight wasn’t until eight hours later, so we had to go to the airport with our bags. It was raining, so before heading there we had coffee and a sandwich under the roof by the entrance. An Italian woman who apparently lived on the property told us to leave, treated us aggressively, and belittled us for being Latin American and having our luggage there. The whole stay felt terrible from arrival to departure. They shouldn’t call these “luxury suites”: the building may have luxurious facilities in a couple of years, but the customer service isn’t there.
