The canal view is gorgeous, and there was room for all seven of us across three big bedrooms and two bathrooms. Being so close to the train station was a real help with our luggage, since we didn't have to haul it far over Venice's narrow streets and bridges. Just be ready for the stairs: there's no elevator and the apartment is on the third floor, so heavy bags are a pain. We also couldn't leave our luggage anywhere after checkout, unlike at a large hotel. Those were small drawbacks for us, though, and we were happy with the stay.

Venice is beautiful, but it gets really crowded. Tourists with cameras kept trying to squeeze past me.

The living room is big and there's a good view. It's handy being right by the train station, but the apartment is on the third floor and there's no elevator. Take care with large suitcases.
