Caesar Augustus Hotel

The restaurant was very, very good, and breakfast was amazing and included with the stay. Our room had one of the best views in all of capri, and the staff made us feel like royalty from the start. We stayed for 2 nights at Caesar Augustus Capri. A personal pickup at the port took us up to the hotel, and they handled all our luggage, so we didn’t have to lift a thing. It felt like a true vip experience. If that’s what you’re after, stay here, just don’t forget your wallet lol, it’s going to cost you. I still think it’s worth the life time experience.

We only came for dinner and drinks, but the place is GORGEOUS and looks super clean and well cared for. The staff were amazing and made us feel very welcome. It’s in a great spot for views, though walking to and from the main city of Capri isn’t ideal. If the view is your priority, this is probably the place!

The hotel is in Anacapri, and I wish they offered a shuttle between there and Capri. The rooms feel a bit dated because the hotel itself is older, though I believe renovations are planned soon. Still, it’s my favorite hotel in Capri, with probably one of the best views on the island and excellent service and location. They were especially helpful when we were leaving. At check-in and check-out, they offer a complimentary shuttle to and from the port, load all your luggage onto the ferry, and help with tickets. That made a big difference, since handling luggage on the ferry can be a challenge.

We ate breakfast and dinner at the Caeser Augustus every day, and didn’t feel any need to look for other dining on Capri. We knew anywhere else would be disappointing. From the moment we arrived, the staff were attentive and welcoming, taking care of every detail to make the stay a lifelong memory. The hotel and grounds are exceptionally well maintained. A perfectly magical experience, with exceptional elegance and quality.
