Casa Mariantonia

I wasn't sure what to expect on my first trip to Capri, but this place ended up being one of my best experiences in a long time. I travel a lot for work and really notice good service. The staff were amazing: kind, attentive, hardworking, and clearly cared about making everyone feel welcome and comfortable. I'm so glad I stayed here, and I'll definitely be back. Highly recommend!

The care in this place shows everywhere, from how the rooms are laid out to the choices for the restaurant tables. It was impeccably clean, and you can feel the pride in the property in every corner. The location is perfect. Don't hesitate to book.

The restaurant is a charming spot among lemon and cherry tomato gardens, and breakfast is served à la carte instead of buffet style. The staff were kind, friendly, and helpful, and everything else about our stay was wonderful. The centrally located hotel has a lovely courtyard pool and a beautiful view. We stayed in a large suite with everything we needed, including a bathtub, and one of the loveliest views we've ever had. Its huge terrace looked out over a stunning sunset, and we enjoyed every moment in that unusual room. The first night there was no hot water. We were told it couldn't be fixed until the next day, and it was handled then. Still, no compensation was offered, not even a drink or dinner at the restaurant, though other guests usually receive one on arrival. At other hotels, management has tried to make things right in similar situations, and that's why I usually give five stars. This time it's four. Not being able to shower after a long travel day was really unpleasant. We definitely recommend the hotel.

The hotel is a long way from the bus station, and the soundproofing and light blocking are very poor. I could clearly hear the couple in the next room arguing. Staff also need better training: I checked twice before arrival that the minibar was free and was told yes both times, but at checkout they charged me for it.
