Le Cantinelle

The garden is the special part here, with a calm little sitting area among rosemary and strawberry bushes where you can pick the berries. Le Cantinelle feels like an oasis in Anacapri, away from the bustle of Capri town. It's tucked down a side street, about a five-minute walk from Anacapri's main bus stop and plaza. Our room was adorable, with a big bed and shower. Across the street, the hotel offers a pastry for free. There's also a grocery store about five minutes away. The famous Jumeirah Hotel is nearby, and we had a reservation at Zuma for one of the best views of Capri. Silvia was great with directions and information, and Luisa was so kind. This mother and daughter run hotel was just right for a relaxing Capri stay.

Rafaelle gave us the warmest welcome we had anywhere on our trip through Italy, and his hospitality made us feel at home straight away. He was exceptional, and I want to thank him for that. Le Cantinelle is in a quiet corner, away from the main walkway. We could hear children laughing as they played in a nearby alley, which made the place feel connected to the local community. The room was thoughtfully decorated, clean, and comfortable to return to after a day exploring. I also loved the peaceful garden just outside. We had a memorable stay and found it more than we expected. It was a tranquil, authentic-feeling place for our time on the island of Ischia, and I'd recommend it to others.

We loved the room, bathroom, and garden, but it was the family hosting us that made the stay. They were kind and generous, welcomed us warmly, and were around whenever we needed something. Breakfast was included too. For us, this B&B had the mix we wanted: close to everything, but tucked away somewhere calm. Capri is beautiful, and staying in a local place like this felt like the best way to experience it. We were a couple and would gladly return. I'd recommend it without hesitation.

The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the location made it easy to catch a bus in any direction around Capri island.
