Oasi di Villa Damecuta

Villa Damecuta was peaceful, with a beautiful room looking out on the garden and sea, a great breakfast, and above all a lovely host, Raffaella, and her family. The Anacapri neighborhood is quiet and still feels local despite the growing number of B&Bs. We also appreciated the room fridge and being able to come and go flexibly. They let us leave our luggage both before and after check-in.

We checked out just a few hours ago and I had to write this right away. Our group of four spent one night and two full days at Villa Demecuta, in a family room with one king bed and two twin beds. It was a convenient spot in the heart of Anacapri, a lovely, quiet little town. After visiting crowded, touristy Capri, the villa was a great way to experience local life and enjoy some quiet. Raffaella and her family gave us a warm welcome, and the place was clean, neat, and well kept. The water pressure was steady, and the room had air conditioning. Raffaella gave us clear directions and suggestions for what to do. Breakfast was included, with an omelette made from fresh local eggs, tomatoes, and basil from their garden. The patio was lovely for star gazing. We had trouble finding a taxi back to the Capri ferry because the taxis were busy taking tourists to the grotto. Raffaella's father kindly brought our luggage to the port, and Raffaella walked us to the bus terminal to make sure we all got on. We had four large suitcases to load into a car, and without their help we wouldn't have caught the ferry. We appreciated their genuine hospitality. One side note, buy a return ferry ticket in advance because they sell out, especially in high season. If you book this villa, please appreciate what this family offers. They are kind hosts and deserve respect for their kindness and their property.

Rafaella and her family were kind and helpful hosts, and she acted as our local guide so we could explore Capri to the fullest. She arranged a transfer for our luggage to the harbor and served an excellent breakfast. The rooms were very comfortable and extremely well kept. This was one of the best homestays we could have found on our visit to capri, and I'd definitely stay in the same place if I return.

Raffaela was very helpful throughout our stay, giving us a map and tips for getting around Capri. We had homemade breakfast with fresh ingredients every morning, and the family shared homemade wine and lemoncello with us. We'd love to visit again!
