The location puts you close to lots of sights and genuinely good restaurants, and the proprietor was communicative and quick to respond. The rooms are cozy, clean, modern, and moderately priced in Anagni’s old city. Keep in mind that this is a medieval city, so getting from parking to the hotel can mean a bit of a walk. There are stairs and no elevator, which makes the place unsuitable for anyone who has trouble with either. Some other reviews mention this, but it’s part of staying in the middle of a medieval city, so set expectations accordingly. I’d definitely like to stay again.

A very good restaurant operates on the ground floor, and there’s also a nice full breakfast available. The owners are extremely kind, helpful, and supportive, while the prices are absolutely reasonable. Set inside the old walls, the small hotel occupies the noble rooms of an ancient palace. The rooms have been updated and the bathrooms are well equipped. Its location in Anagni is superb, in the old stronghold of the Caetani noble Roman family, atop a hill of ancient houses and palaces. With a few improvements, this three-star hotel could easily earn a fourth star. No disappointment possible.
