Breakfast was top notch, and the staff were fantastic, especially with my dog. Mari made the stay lovely for both of us. Hotel della Rosa is right across from the main train station and about a five-minute walk from the ferries, so the location is hard to beat. My room felt comfortable and homelike, with tasteful classic style and modern, useful amenities. The bathroom had a lovely rain shower with great water pressure and a good hair dryer. One of my best hotel experiences in Italy, and I’d absolutely stay here again.

Being directly across from both the train and bus stations was the main advantage. The staff were friendly and very good. Breakfast was ordinary, and there was nothing fancy about the place, but it was fine for my one-night stay.

Breakfast was a bit of a disaster, though the coffee machine provided some comedy. Beans ended up all over the floor while it was being filled. The first time was amusing, and when it happened again, the cleanup was hilarious. Maybe it was just the timing, but the whole thing felt very "Faulty Towers".

The breakfast was plentiful, and the staff were very courteous. Our room was clean, comfortable, air conditioned, and recently furnished. There was a slight smell from a bathroom drain problem, but closing the bathroom door kept it from being an issue. Hopefully it’s a minor fault that gets fixed soon. The hotel is right opposite the station, so you’ll need a bus to reach the city centre.

I was happy staying here with my children. For a three-star hotel, it was really nice: the rooms were clean, and the bed was big and comfortable. The reception team was there at all hours, even in the evening or at night, waiting for guests. Breakfast had plenty of variety, including fruit, yogurt, croissants with different fillings, eggs, bacon, toast, sweets, coffee, milk, and cereal. You can leave questions or requests when booking, and they’ll reply.
