The view was amazing, and there were several places where we could really relax. The pool, pool bar, and restaurant were well organized for guests. We enjoyed the food, and you could tell they use high-quality ingredients. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed our stay.

A few stretches of the local road are very steep, around 20%, so getting there isn’t easy. Still, every step was worth it. It’s an upscale choice, with beautiful surroundings, a designer interior, and a focus on local cuisine and local wines only.

The evening meal was the one letdown for us. The food presentation didn’t match what we’d hoped for, especially compared with the quality elsewhere. Still, we had a lovely weekend and would happily return. Breakfast had plenty of variety, with delicious fruit and generous hot options. Our room was spacious, though the Wi-Fi was a bit weak there and worked much better in the main hotel. Everything was clean and well cared for, and Norma and Erik were especially kind, friendly, and helpful.

The views were lovely, especially at sunrise, and the staff really went out of their way for us. It’s peaceful and a pleasant distance from busy Ancona, with several great beaches and charming villages nearby. Highly recommended.

The setting is wonderful, but the service was terrible, especially at the restaurant. Things moved extremely slowly, and when I brought up a problem, nobody tried to answer or fix it. They just said, “you can email management.” I’m glad we’d only planned to stay one night.
