We had a lovely couple of days in Ancona. The room and bathroom were clean, attractive, and well equipped, and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast had plenty of delicious choices. The restaurant was the best part, with friendly service and food we loved: cuttlefish, rabbit, beef stew, and the house red were the best we had in Italy. The hotel feels smart and high quality without being flashy. I’d probably choose one of the slightly pricier rooms overlooking the busy port. The reception staff were polite and efficient, though they could have been a bit warmer. Otherwise, it’s hard to find anything to complain about.

A great stop before catching the ferry to Greece. The hotel is high quality, right in the center near the port, and offers valet parking. Breakfast and the restaurant were excellent, with superb wines since the owners produce wine themselves. The lobby and restaurant staff were very kind.

I came to Ancona for a quick trip and now I’m scheming to move into Room 305. The old building is gorgeous, with a grand feel that makes you expect a mystery and a tuxedo. The ceilings are ridiculously high, and my room seemed to have its own climate. The bed was so good I’m annoyed at my bed back home. I slept like a baby after a huge Italian meal. The staff were so nice and helpful. They didn’t even judge me when I came to breakfast 15 minutes before closing, looking like I’d survived a shipwreck. The spread was A+, and I’m now 40% prosciutto and 60% cornetto. No regrets. My only complaint is that they eventually, very politely, made me check out. Five stars aren’t enough. I’ll be back as soon as I work out how to get that mattress into my carry-on.

I can’t share details, but the hotel and staff were amazing. The room was perfect, and they took great care of my medical needs. You can also have your car parked in a garage for a small fee. Highly recommended, amazing facilities and amazing staff.

The breakfast spread was amazing and included, and the quiet, clean building had great amenities. We also loved the drinks and snacks included in the minibar. The room was great overall, though the bathroom is quite small and doesn’t clear the moisture well after a shower.
