La Piazza

There was no staff on site. After three days, the owners said we owed more than the booking agency had charged, and instead of contacting the agency, they took our luggage and locked it in a closet. They changed all the keys and messaged me saying I owed them €70. We had to file a police report. Absolutely horrible, a traveler's worst nightmare. I'm beyond words. Beware of theft and extortion.

They let us leave our bags in the office after checkout, so we didn't have to carry them around town all day before our train. The private bathrooms were modern and clean, and the rooms were just as clean and modern. There's also a small coffee and tea station with breakfast snacks. Lots of good restaurants, cafes, and historic architecture are nearby. The beach is about a 30 minute walk, and the route down a quaint boulevard is beautiful. Great stay!

Entry was easy with codes, and the hosts were so helpful and kind. My room was comfortable, clean, quiet, and well equipped, with its own bathroom. The location is handy, just off the Viale and close to the port. There's covered parking across the street, and you can ask for a daily parking ticket at check-in; it'll be waiting in your room. Breakfast is served in the room and is about average: packaged pastries and cookies, fruit, yogurt, milk, jam, and Nutella. There's a kettle for hot water and milk, plus a coffee machine with different capsules. A microwave is available in the common room.

We rarely find an apartment this spotless. The staff were very kind and ready to help. Breakfast is brought to the room, though the packaged items could be better. I'd recommend asking for the quiet room facing inward.
