It’s in a good area, and while the apartment isn’t very large, it’s clean and well looked after. The owner was courteous and very helpful. The problem for me was the temperature. There’s an adjustable thermostat, but the owner also controls it remotely and lowers it as soon as you turn it up. The thermostat also reads three degrees above the actual temperature on a thermometer. The price is cheap, but in winter I’ll choose a hotel room instead. I’ve never been cold in one.

From the sixth floor, the view across Ancona’s skyline and the sea is worth the trip. The apartment is well kept, comfortable, and welcoming. There’s an elevator, though you still need to climb two flights of stairs. Silvia, the owner, was kind and attentive to what we needed, an experienced and courteous host. The location in Ancona is especially convenient for the sea, the city center, and the train station.

The loft is spacious and comfortable inside, with all the amenities in excellent condition. We could walk around the neighborhood at night without any trouble, though it isn’t especially attractive. The place is very well located, with excellent views over the port and the city of Ancona. It’s on the sixth floor, with an elevator plus two flights of stairs.
