After two weeks traveling around this part of Italy, this restaurant was the best meal we had. The view is stunning, and the food is amazing. They’re clearly committed to quality and service, so if you’re nearby and looking for somewhere to eat, I’d recommend it. The owner’s family lived in the building before it became a restaurant. He turned his childhood bedroom into a kitchen after spending years cooking in Paris and Florida. If you speak English, you’ll be able to understand everything here.

The setting is lovely, and the menu made the dishes sound exceptional, but what we ate was pretty bland. My partner’s octopus was tough and came with a boiled potato, which wasn’t very exciting. I had the prawn risotto. The prawns had no taste, maybe because they’d been marinated in something acidic for too long, and all I could taste in the risotto was zucchini.

We had a great meal, with attentive service, a beautiful setting, and portions big enough that two courses were plenty. Antipasti cost around 10-20€, while primi and secondi were about 15-30€. For parking, head up Via Lidia Vinciprova, then walk back down for two minutes. It was an outstanding experience, and I’d definitely recommend it if you can afford it.

Everything was amazing. The food was fresh and delicious, the chef was great, and the hospitality was excellent. Highly recommended.
