I’d have appreciated breakfast starting earlier. The staff, though, deserve more than five stars. People make the difference everywhere.

The spa was so peaceful, with mountain views from the modern outdoor area. There was a whirlpool and sauna in the garden, plus a Finnish sauna, Turkish bath, relaxation space, and herbal tea indoors. Our room was perfect, and there was also a billiards room and games for children beside the dining room. We spent two nights as a couple at the end of February on half board. The location was excellent, just a five-minute walk from the Dosson cable car. Everyone was attentive, warm, and helpful, and breakfast was amazing. We’ll definitely be back.

The body treatments were excellent, and Valentina was knowledgeable and professional. But the wellness area service was awful. There’s a sauna, Turkish bath, and whirlpool, yet no rules to keep things quiet for people trying to relax. We reported the chaos several times: people making calls, talking loudly as if they were in a bar, playing skiing videos at full volume, and constantly leaving doors open as they came and went. Nothing changed. Management needs to set rules and supervise the area, as they do with the excellent restaurant service. The Wi-Fi never worked in our room and needs fixing. The hotel itself is welcoming, with adequate space, a generous buffet for breakfast and dinner, and well-timed service. Our standard room was clean, but didn’t feel like a 3-star S. It was more like a 2-star guesthouse: uncomfortable bed and pillow, 1990s furnishings, a tiny bathroom, and no soundproofing. We could hear everything from neighboring rooms and bathrooms.
