We felt at ease here: the room was secure, warm and comfortable, with a good bed and pillows and an excellent hot shower. The neighborhood could feel a bit rowdy at night, with teens around, and we’d heard about car thefts and pickpocketing, but we loved our stay and would return. Francesco was kind and welcoming, always quick to reply and available when we needed help. He came over promptly when the heater needed attention, helped us find a taxi, and suggested restaurants. Breakfast was at the nearby Negrita, where the friendly staff served an easy, really good breakfast, better than most on our tour. That was the southern Italian hospitality we’d heard about.

For goodness’ sake, what a terrible place. We couldn’t leave the car outside because it would get stolen, so we had to use a distant parking lot and pay 7 euros. Hauling our suitcases there was unpleasant, and we should have paid half. Never again.

Right in the heart of Andria’s historic center, the property provides impeccable service. Roberta’s professionalism adds a lot to the stay. I’ll be back.

The owner was kind and very helpful. The room with its own bathroom was central, clean, and more than decent for a one-night stop.
