Rosengartenhof - Festenstein

This family were incredibly kind, generous, and helpful, especially Mrs. Marlene. Really, everything was perfect.

You can head straight out from the house onto cycling and hiking trails, and shopping is just a 5-minute walk away. They also sell a range of high-quality products on site. The guest card is great too, with free use of the bus and mountain railway. Our car stayed cool and clean in the spacious underground garage. The landlords were friendly and helpful, the view was superb, and the property was as impeccably kept as it looks in the pictures.

We spent two nights in the apartment for two. It was very clean and tidy, with private parking, an en-suite bathroom, and a kitchenette stocked with what we needed. The location is convenient and the view is panoramic. Breakfast was excellent, brought to our room and featuring lots of their own specialties. Mrs. Marlene was a kind, welcoming host.

The well-kept grounds, with a vegetable and fruit garden, made for a relaxed atmosphere each day. We spent a week at Rosengartenhof, which is a family-run place with several vacation apartments, and felt at home right away. The lady of the house greeted us warmly. There was also a thorough folder in the apartment introducing the family and answering nearly all our questions. We went hiking in the mountains and took trips to the Dolomites.
