Rocca d'Anfo B&B-Apartments Lake View

We stayed in the Fagio apartment with two adults, an 8-year-old, and a 2-year-old, and had a very nice time. The view was beautiful, and the apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. The pool was advertised as heated, but it wasn't during our holiday, so it was too cold for the 2-year-old. The jacuzzi on our terrace was a nice alternative. I'd recommend this place if you want a holiday in a quiet village and don't mind driving.

We were really disappointed after reading all the good reviews. The view is beautiful, but the place felt more like a remote campsite, with no facilities apart from a small pool. It's very isolated, and you can't get to the lake on foot unless you're prepared to risk your life walking a long way along the road. So everything has to be done by car. The road up is very steep and so narrow that only one car can pass at a time. I didn't dare drive it 😊. We booked two studios, both very dark and equipped with the basics. They didn't suit a family with two teenagers, since there was nowhere to sit together inside. Outside, it was cramped under the awning, and there was no lounge set like at the other accommodations. They didn't feel luxurious to us, more like two mobile homes at a remote campsite.

The view is beautiful, and it was lovely to have breakfast outside or relax on the outdoor sofa in the evening. The pool, overlooking the lake and with its whirlpool area, is stunning. The apartments are tastefully furnished with attention to detail, and everything looks just like the pictures. Francesco is wonderful, incredibly kind and helpful. A late arrival and an early morning departure were both no problem, and when we had an issue in Milan, he arranged an appointment for us. You can drive to any point around the lake in 10-20 minutes. If you like a small place that's perfectly put together, this is ideal. My two teenagers loved it too. A fantastic complex, highly recommended. We'll be back! Thank you, Francesco!

The apartment had perfect furnishings and amenities, and it was clean, with a wonderful view of Lake Idro and the surrounding countryside. It was also easy to charge our electric vehicle.
