We had nothing negative to say about Il Cardo Resort or its hosts. Dania and Pierre, the owners who run the place, made us feel at home, and every detail seemed cared for. The house and setting were amazing, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and breakfast was delicious each morning. If you can, have dinner at the resort too. We booked at the last minute while traveling through Tuscany, and this hidden gem made the trip.

It was the quiet setting and homemade breakfast that stood out, and the room was very clean too. The landlord was kind and helpful. We felt at home at Il Cardo Resort, which says a lot.

The hosts made us feel welcome, and their suggestions for my partner and me were right on target. We had an authentic, relaxing time in the soothing Tuscan hills. The scenery and pool were lovely, and the service was perfect. I had an amazing stay and highly recommend the place. We'll be back, and we'll stay at Il Cardo again. Grazie!

The room stayed cool even with temperatures above 30 degrees, and there were plenty of shady places around the pool. Anghiari, with its restaurants, bars, and of course gelato, is a very picturesque town and within walking distance. Il Cordo sits in beautiful natural surroundings, and the property has lots of activities to enjoy. We only had a few days and wish we'd booked longer. Pierre greeted us and kindly served a late lunch after our long drive. Both hosts were always ready to help, with local tips and bike routes. We're already looking forward to returning for more time there.

Dania and her husband are so kind and friendly. The resort is lovely and beautiful, and its food is always fresh and organic. They mostly cook with herbs and vegetables from their own garden, and really look after the environment. I can highly recommend Il Cardo Resort!
