Breakfast was easily the best part. There were fresh croissants, Müller yogurts in lots of flavors, Oreos, milk, coffee, and more, and the woman serving us was so friendly. In the shared outdoor breakfast area, we could sit under an umbrella with a view of the lake and surrounding nature. We stayed in the Panorama room, set up for three or four people, with three beds including a double and a large bathroom. The sheets and mattresses were clean. The room itself was a bit dusty, though the bathroom was clean and had a kit with a toothbrush, comb, cotton wool and swabs, makeup remover wipes, and razor blades, all sealed individually. There was a slightly unpleasant smell when we entered the building, the usual mustiness of a “lake house.” Roberto was incredibly kind, helpful, and chatty. Let him tell you all about the place. There’s also a common area by the entrance where you can make coffee, with plenty of pods to choose from. The garden is screened from view and has loungers for sunbathing. The private beach is across the road, through a gate. It’s lawn rather than sand or concrete, as you’d expect by a lake, and could use some care. But with a big towel, we could enjoy a quiet sunset looking out at the lake and Cigna. A swan was even hatching eggs right in front of us. Thanks to the owners for being so welcoming.

The owners were lovely and gave us plenty of suggestions for things to see nearby. We only had two nights, so unfortunately we couldn't explore much. The house has a beautiful garden where the kids picked wild strawberries, and the location is great, a few kilometers from Bracciano and a few hundred meters from Anguillara. We also liked the private path through the trees down to the lake, with loungers, umbrellas, canoes, and life jackets for the children. The muddy shore wasn't a great first impression, but the water was clear and warm, and bathing with swans and herons nearby turned out to be unforgettable. It's very shallow, which is ideal for kids.

The beach was alarming, like a pond beside a dump, with piles of old, unusable things all over. We initially thought the owners might simply not know about the state of it, but later felt they were taking advantage of things as they were. The villa itself was rundown and neglected, and the room was very dusty and dirty. The bathroom was completely unacceptable. Whatever one's personal taste, there are basic standards to meet, and this B&B falls well short. A terrible experience!

Roberto and Stefania were wonderful hosts, so friendly and kind, and they did all they could to make our stay comfortable. The B&B looks out over the lake, the room was elegant and comfortable, and we had a lovely breakfast on the terrace. Guests have a private beach with everything needed. It's a beautiful spot for relaxing in nature for a few days. I'll definitely come back.

We ended up here after finding it on Google while escaping another place, and the owner was ready to show us the rooms even though they were busy with family. There are only two rooms, one larger and one smaller, and both felt welcoming, cute, clean, and well kept, with all the comforts. They overlook Lake Bracciano, with a spectacular sunset view that’s especially lovely for romantics. We chose the larger room for the night. In the morning, the owners surprised us with breakfast on the terrace overlooking the private lake, which B&B guests have exclusive access to. We had warm croissants, coffee, freshly squeezed juice, all kinds of jam, and strawberries with cream. Although checkout was at 11, they let us use the private beach for the whole day. Our Labrador played there peacefully, including with the owners’ very sweet, well-mannered grandson. We finally left at 4, already sure we'd be back as soon as we could.
