B&B La villetta rossa

The kitchen felt like home, with an oven, microwave, fridge, dishes, cutlery, and a multi-service coffee machine. The Wi-Fi could be quicker, and there was some lag, though I could still stream a movie. Parking is outside, and the neighborhood is quiet. I never heard the occasional train from the room, even with tracks nearby, thanks to the soundproofed semi-basement. It’s a peaceful place with a comfortable bed and a ceiling fan that has a nice soft-light setting. Cleaning was good, and the bathroom was efficient and clean, with a new shower and plastic curtain. The bathroom is separate from the bedroom, so you have to cross the shared living room to get there. I’d definitely stay at this B&B again if I came back. Highly recommended.

A lovely garden, kept in great shape, and staff who were friendly, polite, and helpful. The spot is quiet but still convenient and well connected. Highly recommended.

I didn’t stay here, but I went along with a friend and had a look, since I travel a lot myself. For the price, it seemed okay, though some key details weren’t clear: the rooms are in the basement, the veranda shown on Booking.com can’t be used, the room is small, and the mattresses are uncomfortable. The owner also asks for the tourist tax receipt. Then people wonder why we get made fun of abroad! :D

I left right away and got no refund. The bathroom was outside the room, reached by walking through the breakfast room, which I found misleading.
