B&B Villa Evelina

okay

The manager was welcoming and available, and the place has a relaxed, family feel. It's clean enough, sits right by the sea, and works well as a base for a summer holiday. Still, for what we paid, we've stayed in much more organised hotels with more services. Breakfast was just snacks, coffee and yogurt, with croissants one day and tart the next. I think families with kids would appreciate some savoury choices too. We were five and had asked for a quadruple room, but it had been changed to two separate doubles by the time we arrived. The manager may have thought this was doing us a favour, but splitting us up was difficult at night with small children. We had also warned them in advance that we'd need to pay by debit card, but they wouldn't let us.

The room was clean and pleasant, and the staff were friendly. There's a good sea view and the location is nice, though it doesn't amount to much if you aren't driving around. The one catch was having to pay the full amount in cash beforehand. The card machine wasn't working, or at least it wasn't when I was there.

Mr. Rino and Mrs. Carla were so kind and ready to help with anything. They were also lovely to chat with. The rooms were beautiful and kept up well, and there was plenty for breakfast. Rino also keeps the shared fridge supplied with fruit juice and yogurt for an afternoon snack. A small, charming place, and a really positive stay. Just right if you need to unwind. I'd definitely recommend it.
