The people were good and kind, but we won’t be coming back. It’s a shame, because the house could be a real gem with a little more care. The location is handy for the sea, but the windows are only 10 meters from the train station, so it’s hard not to wake up when trains pass. We booked for five and there were five beds, but the kitchen supplies were short: three forks, two knives, three glasses, three coffee cups, and just three or four small pots. Everything was dirty, including the surface they were sitting on. There’s an Ikea folding table indoors, which can be used for eating or as a counter, but the only other surface is the double bed. We ended up eating outside at a table for three. After four days, the owner said we could use the table in the garden. It’s big, but right in the middle of the garden and in the sun at lunchtime. I asked for an umbrella, but there wasn’t one. For me, breakfast at a bed and breakfast means someone serves it. Here it meant the owners’ groceries: tarts, small ribbons, milk and juice in the fridge, and two tarts across the seven days. Nothing bad to say about the people, but we won’t return.
