It had such a warm, welcoming feel, like staying at my grandparents’ home. The owner was lovely and kind, and whenever I came back, he’d cheerfully open the gate to greet me. My clean room had lovely high ceilings, a great view outside, and loads of natural light. It’s a calm, pleasant place to stay. Maybe I’ll be back next year :)) If I could give it 10 stars, I would.

The room was very spacious, with a terrace looking out over the sea and train station. Ostello San Luigi Orione also has a marvelous villa and garden, and our host was especially friendly, considerate, and helpful. We really enjoyed staying here and would love to return. We were sorry, though, that we had to call and wake him whenever we came back after 0:00 so he could let us in.

The staff were incredibly kind and made me feel right at home. It was a relaxed place to slow down and enjoy authentic Italian beauty. The old villa is surrounded by lush gardens, with stunning sea views, and felt like a peaceful hideaway. Its classic architecture, arched doorways, and vintage details give it real charm and character.

A free beach that’s great for tanning is about a solid 15-minute walk away. Closer by, you can walk to a lunch spot, a little bar with amazing coffee, and a supermarket. We definitely enjoyed our stay at the hostel. The view was amazing, and the staff were incredibly friendly. We were surprised by how beautiful the place was, and I’m definitely coming back!
