B&B San Marco

We appreciated how flexible the owner was about check-in. We arranged a different time only a few days ahead, and she was so kind and patient about it. The place is charming and well kept, with a lovely garden, several en-suite bedrooms, and a kitchen equipped with what you need and a dining table. In the common room there’s a little table with a coffee machine and pastries for a simple breakfast. Pizzerias, bars, and restaurants are all an easy walk away.

A good-value B&B with a very kind hostess. The room had almost everything we needed, and there’s a supermarket nearby. Excellent price.

There’s parking near the entrance since the street is a dead end. The B&B is very clean, with a private bathroom in every room, and although it’s minimalist, it has everything you need. The staff are friendly and helpful. The mattress could perhaps use an update.

You can walk to the bus stop from this clean, comfortable B&B, then head to the Royal Palace of Caserta or get off at Caserta train station. San Marco Evangelista playground is nearby, with a bar and some pizzerias farther along. There’s no breakfast served at the B&B. It wasn’t included in our price because of COVID-19, but we didn’t mind going to the nearby bar.
