Hotel Palazzo Antonietta

Nice place.

It's a shame I can't give more stars. I booked a standard room in January so I could accompany my son to a scout rally. A few years ago, the Angelina Hotel was a small, unpretentious place. It's since become a boutique hotel with impeccable standards. Everything was perfect, from the welcome and breakfast to the rooms and staff. They even gave me a suite for the price of a standard room. What more could you ask for? Thanks to Barbara, manager. See you soon.

The historic village location made it easy to get to the port and Pozzillo beach, and the hotel even runs a shuttle there. We had a lovely weekend, thanks to the staff. The room was roomy and had all the comforts we needed, and the shared spaces were comfortable too. The property itself is beautiful, but it was the people who made the stay: B. and the rest of the team welcomed us and looked after us like family. Highly recommended.

After 55 summers, San Marco has become a favorite, which is why I still gave it 4 stars. But there’s less to do than there used to be. Families with kids and a few older people seem to make up most of the crowd, and for gatherings you have to go elsewhere. Parking can be a real hassle at busy times, especially in August. Pozzillo beach has become more privatized, and access to the rocks is being cut back because they’re considered dangerous. The marina is now for guests who can comfortably spend a few thousand euros a season, and sailing has become a luxury for the few. The open-air theater and cinema have been closed for years. There are two ice cream shops and a few pizzerias.
