You can take a walk and explore the neighbourhood area of the hotel — Aosta-Les Fleurs Gondola Lift (lower station), Matterhorn and Klein Matterhorn.

The mountain setting around Aosta is gorgeous, between Mont Blanc and the Matterhorn, with plenty of historic buildings to explore. There are also great restaurants, lovely local wines and really wonderful people.

The room was spotless, and breakfast was superb. This magnificent B&B is right in the center, with a spectacular view over the Roman excavations. The building itself may even have been part of a Roman villa. The young woman who welcomed us was lovely and clearly cares a lot about this little place. If you're unsure what to see or where to eat, ask her for suggestions. I only wish I could give it 10 stars instead of 5!

We booked the large apartment, and it was incredible, with an exposed roof and terrace. Everything is thoughtfully designed, comfortable and welcoming, with all the cooking essentials you need. Breakfast is included, which was a real plus. The place is beautiful and central, yet quiet, with a spectacular view of the Roman theater ruins. Elena looked after us so well and was a cheerful, wonderful host. Thank you, we'll definitely return.
