Pension Aurora

Dinner was the highlight for me, lovingly made and delicious. The breakfast was very good too, and after a long day I could cool off in the pool. I got such a warm welcome here, and the accommodation was great. It's very family-friendly, and the owners make you feel their warmth. Thanks to everyone working behind the scenes who helped make my vacation a success. I travelled alone on my motorcycle in 2017, but next time I'll bring my family. The staff were super helpful, friendly, and kind. This recently renovated guesthouse has bright, spotless, welcoming rooms with balconies, comfortable beds, and air conditioning. Breakfast offers both sweet and savory options. Great value for money, I'll definitely be back!

The place itself was okay, though the decor and furnishings felt dated. Breakfast was decent, but the coffee could have been better and the “orange juice” didn’t seem to have seen an orange in a long time. What really ruined the stay was how we were treated. After a journey of more than six hours, two fellow travelers asked to use the restroom and the owner curtly refused. The next morning, we had barely sat down for breakfast before she started up again. We’d paid over €530 for four nights, so it felt incredibly petty. Guests shouldn’t have to put up with that. A customer service course might help. The daughter (?) was thankfully much friendlier when it came to service. We’ll stay somewhere else next time we’re in Eppan. This was no good.

Breakfast came with a magnificent view and a generous spread. The owner was friendly and helpful, and the bathrooms have been beautifully renovated in a clean, modern style. I’d happily come back and can recommend the guesthouse without hesitation. 👍
