The farm is beautifully situated, and we could watch and pet some of the animals. The whole family worked hard to make us feel at home, and we were welcomed warmly and treated with great courtesy. We forgot to mention that one of us was vegetarian until five minutes before the meal, but they still cooked an alternative for us. On departure day we had to leave before breakfast, yet the lady-boss of the house made sure we had coffee and cake before setting off. Incredibly obliging, thank you!

The dinner starts late, but it’s worth staying for. Fresh, home-cooked food from local farms is shared with the family and other guests, and the lively conversations are part of the fun. A little language knowledge is enough to join in. The hosts are very kind, and I’d absolutely recommend the authentic Sardinian meal. Around the area, don’t miss Piscina dunes, Mannau cave, or the little beaches along the coast. There’s a nearby beach for every kind of day.

I haven’t stayed here, but I met the hosts on an off-road trail. They gave me a short ride, and seemed like sympathetic, good-hearted people.

A lovely stay otherwise, but there was no air conditioning and breakfast had very little choice. The staff were moderately friendly.

We only came for dinner, not as guests at the property. The home cooking was excellent, especially the unusual culurgiones, which were delicious. Service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere felt relaxed and very traditional. We’ll definitely return.
